2 + 4 = 6 👌 the children place a number of cubes into the two circles and when we are all ready we push the cubes into the box and count! I've found that this is a great way to teach children the terminology of addition too!
Used these cards every day when I taught sixth class! I would hand them out and say things like 'Show me the sum that means four groups of five?' and 'Who has the answer for 4 x 8?'. At the end of the lesson we would play a matching game in pairs. One person took all the questions faced upside down and the other took all the answers. The quickest team to match all the tables like this were the winners! Endless possibilities! #teach #math #teachersofinstagram
