Raised in Kuwait, I found myself a misfit in India. I see the same happening to my kids. On one hand, though they are proud of their Indian heritage, they do not GET a lot of Indian things that come naturally to some others and thus are judged. On other hand, they are perceived as Indian by the world even though they love America as much as they love their culture. Not Indian enough for India. Not American enough for America... This book is a story I wanted the world to read.
