"I used to take life too seriously. If you have a house, a wife and kids, and you work 9-5 with mean, money hungry people around you, there's a constant panic over your head that you have to work hard or you lose everything. I just got fed up, I took 5 minutes to think, and I walked away from everything. I realized it wasn't the life I wanted. If you're willing to work for it, you can make a living out of anything you want. Now I'm a tattooist and I sing in a band. I’m still married, See…
"The war on drugs is not something that's possible to change in a 5 year period, but it'd be great if Dublin could pay more attention to this issue... You can buy drugs too easily on the streets. On almost every second corner in Dublin, especially on the North side. The city centre is supposed to be a nice place, or at least comfortable to walk around, but it's becoming very dangerous, and it's a ... See More
"I like to stay alone most of the time, to be honest I feel much more lonely around people. This is natural for me, and I was always like this. I'm very sensitive and get hurt very easily. "I'm blogging my experiences in Europe of cheap hostels back to Florida. My age group doesn't seem to have too much experience in this field. Probably a lot of them would have done the same 40 years ago if they had the opportunity... I'm 64 years old, retired, single, and on a budget. I've got nothing better thing to do. I used to be a school teacher, I love being between young and friendly people. And for people my age, it’s kind of interesting."
"You may say it’s a form of asceticism where like, we recognise and deconstruct a tendency towards stability and predictability that makes people do funny things and treat each other in funny ways, and we're trying to get around that."
"I have to be connected when I exercise. I cycle with my backpack, and in the leisure centre they built a special box where I can put my tank so I can use the gym and do aerobics 5 days a week. Both my parents were carriers, and because I was fit all my life, my body learnt how to deal with less oxygen. I didn't even realized until a day in 1996....read more on Facebook
"I wasn't born to be a writer, but I wanted to be one so I became one. It was hard, but if you really want something there's nothing that can stop you. To be honest it's a kind of love/hate situation for me now - there aren't many things left to love about writing.....see more on facebook page.
