Shikimeji-odoshi, kiritsuke kozane, go mai tachi do tosei gusoku armour, Edo Period, 18th/19th c, thirty-two-plate hoshi bachi of russet iron with unusually long hoshi, the peak mounted with a maedate of gilt horns, to the rear a hineno jikoro, menpo with stiff hair moustache and chin tufts, ko sode, ikada gote, wakibiki, kawara haidate and shino suneate, go-mai do with gold lacquered kusazuri edged with black bear fur, a sashimono in the form of a large gilded wood circle.

Captured in service in the SS Panzer division “Viking”.
