The Green Cinema, St. Stephen's Green, 1973 The Green Cinema opened in 1935 and included a restaurant and cafe. The cinema offered an added attraction for young couples with its double-seats. The Green was also used as a late-night concert venue in the 1960s. It finally closed in 1987.

Built 1824 – The Flowing Tide, Abbey Street, Dublin. - A fine pub building on an important corner site, The Flowing Tide has a great cut stone façade at street level. As can be seen in the photograph, originally like many Dublin pubs the main doorway was on the corner, accessible from both streets, one part of which has now been closed up. - Archiseek.ie
