The Chop House
Kevin Arundel and Conor Dempsey are chefs with impressive credentials. Their decision to open the Chophouse has proved that really good food is much appreciated and not just by the denizens of Dublin 4. Steaks are the big speciality here, the Limousin beef travelling from a farm in Co Louth. A minimum of 35 days dry-aging ensures the best quality. Two people can share rib on the bone or the Porterhouse.
Toscana Italian Restaurant
A love affair which began in the 90’s has resulted in a fine marriage. Not just between the two people who fell in love – but in the harmonious relationship of homegrown food and fine wines served in an Italian atmosphere. The Winding Stair
Menus are seasonal and come at three set prices for one, two or three courses. At full a la carte menu runs from midday late into the evening. Plenty of choice here for starters, mains and desserts. If you are taking in a show, the Pre-Theatre menu is a short showcase of some of the best produce in Ireland, priced for two or three courses.
O'Neills Bar & Restaurant
Most of all, O'Neill's is famous for it's food. The carvery and hot food counter is only to be gaped at in awe. You can't decide because it's all so beautifully presented. Find more than a smattering of artisan producers mentioned on the menu. Be assured all meats are Irish and sourced from local suppliers. A sandwich and salad bar compliments the hot food choices for those who want something light.
Dinner is served on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. A new seasonal menu weekly. Two firsts, two mains and two puds. Vegetarians have their very own menu. Suppliers are listed each week. Purveyors of fresh fish and meats, Irish artisan ingredients and cheeses. Tom Doyle is a forager. Discover the Wild Wood Sorrel, sea vegetables and herbs he picks on his way to work. Add a touch of class in the presentation department. This is good cooking in its highest form.
Open all day every day for breakfast and lunch. Dinner is served Wednesday to Sunday. Moloughney’s menu is driven by Liam’s ethos of seasonality and availability of fresh ingredients. Irish and locally sourced is paramount. During the day the extensive breakfast menu, including everything from pancakes to home-made granola & fruit compote to a traditional 'Full Irish', drifts into a casual dining lunch affair.
