Country Sourdough Bread
Amazingly with a little love and care, flour and water turns into an incredible natural 'wild yeast'. It is this beautiful concoction that creates sourdough bread. It has enough whole wheat and rye to give it a robust, earthy flavor, yet still retains a moist and open crumb and has a bit of chew.
Wholemeal Tin Yeast Bread
A true sourdough starter uses naturally occurring yeast to ferment. Dried yeast is a bit of a cheat, but more comfortable. Try experimenting with different combinations of your own favourite flours for example spelt or buckwheat.
Sourdough Bloomer Bread
Bloomer as it's called, because it expands on the slash lines as it bakes and so it 'blooms'. It is a bread with a slightly chewy crust and a soft moist crumb. The most common use is to make great sandwiches and toasties. Very strong white flour and a sourdough starter give us the perfect open textured bloomer. This loaf is easy to make and even easier to eat.
Gourmet Sourdough Pizza
I'm experimenting with the sourdough... but my dream was pizza. I like the flavour of sourdough, but this pizza crust exceeded my expectations. Creating the slightly sourdough pizza crust is a bit more time intensive than using a pre-packaged dough or other substitute dough product. But, for me, the crust is the foundation of any gourmet pizza. I love this one, it's the best pizza ever! Yum
Sourdough Ciabatta Rolls
First time I’ve made sourdough ciabatta. It is very light and soft, while still having a slight sourdough flavour and the overnight bulk fermentation allows for richness and depth. The ciabattas have a crunchy crust and taste great. A light airy bread with soft chewy interior - exactly as should be. Perfect for Italian sandwiches.
100% Rye Sourdough Bread
One of the best bread I've recently baked. And very easy to prepare. But the most important thing is that it is 100% rye and it grows very quickly (approx. 2-3 hours). The ingredients need only stir with a spoon. The taste is slightly different from that of classic brown sourdough bread - is more sour and less sweet. Yum
100% Rye Bread with Potatoes
Bread with a slightly sour flavour and dark colour. This bread very long retains freshness. It is because of potatoes. I would recommend adding sunflower seeds or a pinch of caraway seeds to the dough. It's my favourite rye bread. Yum
Easy Homemade Pizza Bread
We’ve made homemade pizza for a long time. Learning how to make pizza at home? Here's how to make and bake an epic pizza at home. This easy pizza dough recipe is great for beginners. Yum
Homemade Sourdough Bread
Sourdough bread is very simple thing to make. The big thing about sourdough is that it doesn’t contain regular baker’s yeast. Instead, you use a sourdough starter - 'wild yeast' levain. This sourdough bread is incredibly versatile, you can make it with walnuts, sunflower seeds, sun-dried tomatoes or whatever you like. Yum
Classic White Sourdough Bread
This loaf takes longer than other breads, but it's well worth the wait. Sourdough makes wonderful and taste good breads. This is a lovely rustic bread and you might be surprised how it taste... crunchy on the outside and soft in the inside. My favourite is to serve it with a strong soft cheese or any homemade jam. Yum
