For me the star of the foxglove family is the Digitalis Illumination Pink. I first discovered this unusual foxglove working on the Glanbia garden at Barretstown. This variety has a very vibrant colour & stands out in a garden. The flower is similar to a traditional foxglove but has an extended lip which almost looks like a tongue sticking out , if you use your imagination!
