Isabella Augusta, Lady Gregory,1852 –1932, born Isabella Augusta Persse, was an Irish dramatist & folklorist. With William Butler Yeats & Edward Martyn, she co-founded the Irish Literary Theatre & the Abbey Theatre. She wrote numerous short works for both companies.
