A Chippendale fretwork tea/silver table in mahogany. Featured in "Masterpiece of Queen Anne & Georgian Furniture" my F. Lewis Hinckley, pg. 85, pl. 134. This exuberant example displays a fretwork laminated gallery with figural top over a mirror image frieze with blind fretwork. The legs are fretworked as well with carved edges & joined by an undulating cross stretcher with piercing as well. English or Irish, circa 1770. L: 34.5" D: 23.25" H: 29.5" G.
