The Currach Race Oil on Canvas 12 X 16 Painted from a photo taking at the Riverfest In Limerick this year, A currach (Irish: curach) is a traditional Irish boat with a wooden frame, over which animal skins or hides were once stretched, though now canvas is more usual. It is sometimes anglicised as "Curragh". The construction and design of the currach are unique to the west coasts of Ireland and Scotland, with variations in size and shape by region.

Old Water Pump Oil on Board 8 X 10 Now there is something you don't see anymore, we were out walking the other day, and I found this old pump on the side of the road, almost hidden by trees and bushes. It really takes you back to a bygone era, when people used to have to walk to the village pump to get the water

Kinvara, Cruinniu na mBad Oil on Canvas 10 X 12 Cruinniu na mBad, meaning "Gathering of the Boats", is a festival held in August each year, which brings us back in time, to when the majestic Galway Hookers used to transport turf/peat to Kinvara.

Oil On Board 16 X 20 Can you imagine a more haunting sound then the sound of a sole bag pipe player off in the distance playing a soft slow air on the edge of the Burren, I set the painting in liscannor, Co. Clare, A female bagpiper, playing for her love that will never come home.
