Vintage Dublin Airport

Dublin Airport, which was originally known as Collinstown Airport, opened on January 19 1940. Construction of the airport started in 1937 on the site of an old British RAF base. The first flight on Friday, January 19, 1940 was an Aer Lingus flight to Liverpool's Speke Airport. This board features historic images of Dublin Airport over the past seven decades.
