We're Going on a Word Hunt (fun hide and seek game!) for sight words/vocab words. To diferentiate for multiple students use colored post it notes (each child has their own color post it with words they are working on) Recording sheet has pictures
*This links to a paid activity, but you can do this for free! Put some sight words on the ground, have kids toss bean bag and they get points if they read the word. If you want, you can have different colored words worth different point levels.
Students must match sight words. This can be a game in class or a game to take home to practice sight words at home. If the student flips over then and were, they are obviously not a match so they will need to retry.
A Years Worth of Sight Word Games in One Spot. This is such a huge time saver! They are perfect for kindergarten, first grade or second grade literacy centers, word work stations, guided reading groups.
