This sculpture of two sheep was made in 2002 by local artist, Keith Alexander. They stand on a dry-stone wall over-looking Low Force, near Bowlees in Teesdale. Carved below the sheep are the words 'A wonderful place to be - a walker'. Teesdale is one of the picturesque Durham Dales in the Pennines in North East England. Once a lead mining hub, now treasured by amblers.
