'In Northern Mists: Arctic Exploration in Early Times,Vol II' by Fridtjof Nansen (Norwegian: 1861 – 1930). Nansen was a Norwegian polymath and Nobel Peace Prize laureate. He gained prominence as an explorer, scientist, diplomat, and humanitarian. He led the team that made the first crossing of the Greenland interior in 1888, traversing the island on cross-country skis.
