Juan Gris (1887-1927) Su cubismo es fundamentalmente sintético y coloreado. Sus composiciones tienen una firme estructura y un ritmo armonioso. Esta mezcla de suavidad y energía la observamos en la ordenación de sus bodegones, realizados a base de planos muy violentos. Los elementos que aparecen son vasos, botellas, diarios, fruteros, pipas, arlequines, elementos musicales. Apenas trata otro tema que el del bodegón.
