Continent Boxes~ Europe!

These are continents in a box. I love the idea that children can explore the continent (looking through pictures of places, animals, people, etc).

This list of virtual field trips could be used when you just want to show students an exibit or two. Also if the school can't afford to send students or the distance is just too far, a teacher can use this list to give the feel of a field trip. We just finished our rock and minerals unit in science. One of the best activities we did was this Starburst Rock Cycle.
