I posted these in another thread but figured I stick them in the "official" stones thread. These are mine for this year. I made two more witch stones to go with the one I already had. Pendleton, IN. This was a major deal in 1825. Killing Indians was not generally considered a crime then. In this case, the slaughter of two peaceful Indian families--2 men, 3 woman and 4 kids--trapping on the river by white men who wanted the pelts...became known as the Fall Creek Massacre. The ringleader got away with the furs, but 4 went to the gallows. The 18 yr. old was pardoned for his age with the noose around his neck. Justice was served. Once.
