Making the Climb
Published by Beacon Hill Press Written about a man who accomplished climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro in Africa. I borrowed a huge boot and made a mud imprint on a sheet of paper. Then literally painted mud in all of the places I needed to with a medium-size paint brush. Had a photoshoot, then produced the typography digitally. The book cover was printed and the mud and title imagery was embossed so it really raised off the cover. AIGA Book Design winner 2008 bhilldesign.com
