I stepped out from my usual pink and cream color palette and was very pleased with the results. I gave this large house a coat of buttercream colored paint, with a lilac entrance and side porch with windows. The light green, double chimney stacks and front door beautifully compliment the lilac and cream color scheme. I gave the full piece a light dusting of crystal glitter so it glistens like newly fallen snow. There are lots of special touches...like the aurora borealis crystal doorknob…

Putz Glitter Houses & Glitter Church

I love decorating the house for Christmas! When I was younger I would accompany my Mom to the Hallmark store around Thanksgiving. This trip would decide which house from the "Dicken's Christmas village" she would add to her collection that year. Now an adult, I have been longing and looking for my version of the "christmas village". This weekend I found it as I stumbled upon this wonderful vintage cardboard glitter house! I look forward to collecting a new one each Thanksgiving!
