bee keeping in the West of Ierland

Bee keepers, Timothy and Amanda Steevens, live in Newport, county Mayo, Ireland. They recently started a new enterprise "Clew Bay Honey". They place hives in people's gardens in spring, take care of the bees and and reap the honey in summer. One of the gardens they operate in, belongs to Polranny Pirates. One of the pirates, Peti Buchel, keeps a 'bee blog 'that will keep you up to date!
