Danish designer Hans Hornemann took inspiration for the Ace series from his own life in Copenhagen. The series aims at urban dwellers, who prioritize quality and aesthetics but who must also adapt to the limited space of life in the city. #normanncopenhagen
The Pad lounge series attains its special character from the combinations of materials, tactility and shape. Molded shells in oak veneer stand in contrast to a soft padded front, while a metal frame adds strength and airiness. In full, a balanced design, which captures the comfortable and the streamlined, the classic and the foresighted. #normanncopenhagen #lounge
Just as Tivoli is colorful and playful and constantly changing over time, the Tower building block made of turned oak can transform its expression. Each of the seven blocks has a different shape and can be stacked onto the wooden stick in different ways to create new towers. The cupola on the top is a reference to the many towers inside the Tivoli Gardens.
The design of the Magic jars encapsulates the enchanting atmosphere inside Tivoli, which occurs when thousands of lights, colors, and patterns meet in one place and create the park’s lively ambience. The glass is mouth-blown and then painted to create a dazzling color effect.
A renowned balloon-shaped Ferris wheel inside the Tivoli Gardens inspired the round shapes of the Balloon vase series, made of hand-blown glass. Elliptic, soft shapes give it a playful and delicate expression.
