A lone British Troop stands guard over the ruins of the GPO where brave men and women once fought against the might of the imperial empire in the name of the Irish Republic.

This was Graham O'Sullivan's  delicatessen on Dawson Street.  It was the first place in Dublin where workers could go and buy a takeaway sandwich at lunchtime - I loved the egg and tomato sandwich.
