Let’s talk Google Classroom! This tutorial teaches you how to use Google Slides, what you can do with it, and how to easily set it up. You can also set up a Google Classroom account from your personal gmail just to explore. My introduction will walk you through it step-by-step!
Parts of Speech
Grammar Interactive Notebooks provide fun activities to practice and apply grammar skills. In my classroom, I introduce one part of speech per week. We complete the corresponding parts of speech worksheets on Monday and Tuesday. We watch a video (linked below) and complete the interactive notebook pages on Wednesday and Thursday.
Editable Class Superlatives End of the Year Awards
End of Year Awards for students! 36 unique end of the year awards. Kids love getting these awards from their teachers. I usually hand them out in a small classroom ceremony. The class has a ball, and each student feels special. Awards like these make school & teaching FUN! These use some color but also print beautifully in grayscale. ( Kindergarten, First, Second, Third, Fourth, Fifth, Sixth Grade )

Finding the Main Idea
Finding the main idea is a key to improving reading comprehension, yet it is not a concept that is taught once an mastered. It requires ongoing practice to successfully apply this skill to different texts. Because of this, the resource I created gradually builds in difficulty and provides a necessary scaffolding for students as they learn to master this skill throughout the year!
