The Doors – The Doors (1967) – The obsession began with this album. It grew with each new Doors album. It burgeoned from their organ-driven music, their behavior, and their concert in Pittsburgh in 1969. Their music, their amazing lyrics, and their out-of-control antics captivated me. Morrison’s not unexpected death may have saved me. However, since then I have read numerous books about The Doors and Jim Morrison, and I still like their music. I enjoyed The Doors on vinyl again today…
