Photographer Marianne Kjølner snapped this pair of photographs of a bizarre tree in Denmark - West coast, a very windy place were there isn’t much that can grow. So the tree can only grow where it has shelter.
The Olive Tree of Vouves Crete. It is the oldest known olive tree on Earth, with a tree ring age of at least years. Carbon daters have estimated it to be about years old, and it still produces tasty olives today. It is 15 feet thick at the base.
