Şirince The village of Sirince is located 7 kilometers inland from Selcuk, and 11 kilometers from the famous city of Ephesus. With an altitude of 350 meters and a good road with charming scenery it is easily accessible from nearby vacation destinations. The village dates back to 5th century AC; around 1924 after the Turkish victory in the war for independence, the Greek inhabitants have left and Turkish families from Greek cities settled in Sirince.
