Another huge part of French culture is French Lavender. Almost the entire countryside of Provence consists of Lavender farms. Franch produces over of the world's Lavender, so it's kind of a big deal over there.

For this project I'm using vintage lace trim to create simple lavender sachets.  You can also use lace fabric cut into strips.  It's a good opportunity to use scraps and remnants of things you have around. Supplies:  Lace trim (at least 2 inches wide) Hot glue gun Hot glue sticks Dried lavender buds Ribbon Scissors     Step 1: Cut a 28 inch length of lace trim, and fold it in half.
