Portraits of the Urban Landscapes by Orlaith Ross The porcelain print work explores the decay and regeneration of the urban landscape and involves a delicate process of photographic printing onto paper-thin porcelain panels. The panels are an attempt to capture the buildings and the memories they contain which disperse with the progression of time. There is a continuous battle between the old and new, which creates a fragility that is empathetic to the buildings lamentable beauty.
