It's a bird! It's a plane. No, it’s drone of course! The DJI Phantom 3 quadcopter, unveiled in NYC today, has a distortion-free 94-degree-field-of-view camera which renders smooth, sharp 30fps 4K ($1,259 Professional model) or 60fps 1080p ($999 Advanced) videos. The units take 12MP still photos and the DJI Pilot app integrates with YouTube, thus allowing users to livestream their aerial magic. If the 2.8-pound unit loses contact with its remote, it hovers in place until the next command.
