Writing4all.ie: A Small, Good Thing Short Story Competition:  	    Writing4all.ie have announced a new short story contest. A Small, Good Thing Short Story Competition is a monthly short story competition that accepts (via email or post) short stories of up to 3000 words max. Entry is €3 (€5 for two stories).  The prize is €100 and publication in the Writing4all: Best of 2012 anthology.

The November ‘Over The Edge: Open Reading’ takes place on Zoom on Thursday, November 19th at the usual Over The Edge time 6.30-8.00pm (local Galway time). The Featured Readers are Liam Boyle, Audrey Molloy, & Laurence McKeown. There will, as always at Over The Edge: Open Readings, be an open-mic after the Featured Readers have finished. Dream Quest One Poetry & Writing: The Dream Quest One mission is to inspire, motivate and encourage anyone with the desire or love for poetry and writing to continue doing so without the fear of failure or success. Write a poem, thirty lines or fewer on any subject, style, or form. And/or write a short story, five pages maximum length, on any subject or theme, creative writing, fiction or non-fiction (including essay compositions, diary, journal entries, short plays and screenwriting)
